HEALTH SCIENCES RELAUNCHES THE NATIONAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS
SURVEY
-- Results From 2005 Survey to be Released Next Week
NEW YORK, September
15, 2005 –
Consumer Health Sciences, a
Ziment Group company, announced today that it has relaunched
the National Health and Wellness Survey (NHWS) to include a
multitude of additional products and services.
"The National Health and
Wellness Study database is the crown jewel of CHS," said
Howard Ziment, Chief Executive Officer of The Ziment Group.

The NHWS is a rich and powerful
database that provides an understanding into how patients flow
into, through and out of physicians' offices. It
collects an abundance of information about their overall
health, including the diseases they suffer from, treatments
they use, their attitudes towards their health and subsequent
behaviors.
This data is collected directly from
41,000 adult consumers in the U.S. and
36,000 Europeans, covering over 75 therapeutic areas. It is
available for immediate use and was born with and maintains an
outcomes bent (using the latest outcomes scales in its
question set).
The re-launch of NHWS
involves a suite of products that make accessing the database
easy. They include:

CORE:
This is the door to the NHWS database, providing a treatise
on a given therapy area.

DRIVER:
This is an analysis of a given therapy area to identify the
driving forces that help or hinder patient flow into the
physician’s office, receiving and then filling a RX for a
given drug.

Outcomes Posters and
Manuscripts:
NHWS is an often used source of data for outcomes
researchers to construct Posters and/or Manuscripts.

SELECT:
These are studies which involve recontacting patients who
completed NHWS to ask custom questions to add to the rich
NHWS data to answer specific questions about those patients.

SOLVE:
This are custom analyses of the NHWS, with reports prepared
to answer specific business and marketing questions.
