Ziment's USA Chronic Illness Panel Surpasses 300,000 Patients, Making it One of the Largest in the Country

NEW YORK, December 07, 2004 - Ziment, an industry leader in global healthcare marketing research, announced today that its USA based on-line chronic illness panel has passed 300,000 patients, making it one of the largest such panels in the country.

“Since 2002, our chronic illness panel has nearly doubled, continuing to give our clients easy access to patients in over 100 chronic illness disease states”, reports the company’s CEO Howard Ziment. “The chronic illness panel is a powerful tool that is a major engine for our patient research. It powers “From Compound-to-Profit”, our suite of quantitative research approaches, that are designed to solve our clients’ most intractable business problems,“ said Ziment.

“Our chronic illness panel provides patients with the freedom to speak freely and privately about their disease,” he said. “It provides our clients with a place to easily locate patients with specific disease states who would ordinarily be extremely difficult to find and interview.”

The panel, created in 2002, is powered by Lightspeed (www.lightspeed.com), a sister company to Ziment that is also part of the Kantar group, WPP’s Global Information and Consultancy Division. Further, as the founding member of WebSurveyMD, a physician internet panel, Ziment’s clients also have access to a dedicated panel of more than 75,000 physicians worldwide with over 50,000 in the United States.
